Just talked to Basil on site in Crawford, Texas. Currently there are about 100 folks there helping to set up. They have not received word about the caravan arrival in Waco yet. JimRob is riding with the caravan. She thinks it might get to Crawford around 1:00 p.m.
Basil says the stage is set up, the sound system is excellent and they have hung the most beautiful banners overnighted by W04Man on the stage. A big thanks for the banners, they are much appreciated!
Someone arrived early and hung yellow ribbons everywhere.
They have an American flag that is about 50 feet by 40 feet. Children of military personnel serving in the Middle East have written notes to their parents on the stripes of this flag. A very touching thing to behold.
The HOT Chapter booth is being unloaded right now. The will sell buttons made by Angelwood to help off set costs.
Someone rented the Community Center for our use so there is access to AC. However, they also have 10 tents set up. And there is a Moonwalk for the kiddos.
To top everything else there is BBQ on the grill! Basil is the official taster and says it is great!
That is all the news I have at the moment. It is hard to get a cell phone connection to Crawford but when I hear more I will try to update everyone.

The only disruption I saw was two guys that tried to walk through with a sign that said "Bush is a dictator" The sign went down fast and then the media surrounded the group. I couldn't see the rest. That was the protest warriors. Folks misunderstood their sign, even though the podium had announced their presence and warned the group not to misunderstand their signs. Below is the sign you refer too. A bit too subtle for the occasion perhaps. People were kinda edgy.
Below is another one that I think I saw there yesterday.

This is my first time posting in this forum No it isn't.
You just repeated your previous post. "Copy and paste" replies are a lousy way to communicate.

Doesn't this woman need to go home and pay the bills and do the laundry and all the stuff the rest of use have to deal with in our day to day lives? Who can wander around aimlessly for weeks on end with no job, hanging out in a field with hippies and no identifiable source of income. The whole thing just annoys me. I haven't seen anything anywhere about whether Cindy Sheehan has ever had a real job; she doesn't seem to have one at this point ....

I really don't think you should be too hard on Fox. Despite optimistic claims and estimates made in here, it was pretty clear from the get-go that there simply were a lot more antiwar protesters there, and I don't imagine Fox really wanted to mention exact numbers, so they didn't. In fact, they probably wanted the whole thing to just go away. As was pointed out in this thread, the Fox reporters seemed very uncomfortable about something. That would be a likely cause. As near as I can tell, it was about 1500 vs 2500 protesters on Saturday. Feel free to compare this pic with those already posted in the thread. You are bogus, JohnWest... out in left field, troll

It's interesting that you happened to fixate on the photos of the leftist dancer being arrested, (out of the entire thread). If you actually study the photos, you'll see her sneakers have a black sole and that she keeps her jeans pulled over her heal.
My guess is that you WERE there and know perfectly well that this young lady was indeed the one being arrested in the photo.
Trolling on FR threads will not hide the truth that you leftists were out of control/and or stoned enough to get arrested.

To Everyone:
Here, courtesy of LGF and Minnesocold, is a very revealing photograph from Crawford of the 'grieving mother'. This is like those poor Palestinian women yearning toward the cameras with their housekeys but when you step back and see who else is in the shot, you begin to see just how staged the whole thing is. Take a look at this. Would you call this 'spontaneous'?

Just wanted to make sure I'm not talking to myself. (I'm at # 1000). Time for church. Yall don't run off:')
To: W04Man
Maybe first time under that name?? LOL ANd he really shouldn't try telling folks who were there, and folks from Crawford, both of whom are here on FR, that the antiwar time wasters outnumbered the pro Troops people! That just calls out the troll watchers!
