Just heard on LA County Fire frequency that 1 hour blackouts have been instituted....not sure whats up

Something squirrely happened on the grid...
The spike (which you'll only see if you view this thread on 8/25/05) is probably a measurement error, but the drop in resources at around 3:45 pm isn't. They cut it a little close. There was only about 1GW of headroom.
