There is a little bit at the end of your tax software which gives you a nice summary. If you do not use tax software, you should be able to ad it up, or your accountant could giv you a tally, imho.

I am already plenty aware of how much I, as an independant consultant, pay in.

I'll be d@mned if I want to pay double to "educate" those who are not smart enough to figure out that the check they get in the spring is not "money from the government" but the unused portion of a payment, in effect, the payment of the principle of an interest free loan.

Every business looks for cost/price advantages to compete against other businesses.....

Example.....Target Passes on a few percent of the savings to get even or below Walmart prices.....is Walmart gonna just sit there and watch Target gain Market Share.....ughhhh.....NO....they will match Targets price reductions or even go beyond Targets lower prices......

Only takes a couple of rounds of this back and forth to pass on the complete savings to the Consumer...... I am am in business and i can honestly say that I would attempt to hold the savings as long as I could but I know that it would only be temporary as I my competitors used "the savings" as away to cut into my business.....

....give me my ENTIRE PAY CHECK, a 10% reduction in prices, NO IRS, UNTAXED INTEREST, NO ESTATE TAXES, NO CAPITAL GAINS taxes and I'll show you a WEALTHIER more PRODUCTIVE and FREE AMERICAN!!!!

You're kidding right? A business has the opportunity to sell the same amount of units at a lower price while eliminating wasted time contemplating the tax implications of every decision, eliminating the accounting costs, and freeing up funds and time to improve their business and they won't do it? if they don't there is another business down the street that will, and then they're OUT of business.
