Rumsfeld is having a press conference. Under the Fox News Alert the big banner read:
Rumsfeld says that Able Danger briefed the 9/11 Commission.
Did anyone hear his remarks on this matter; all I've seen is the banner.

We both agreed on another thread that if Rumsfeld is willing to go on the record with this, he believes Shaffer and is willing to tie his fortune to Shaffer.

I turned the television on about 1:30 est. The banner under The Fox News Alert was up for a long time so I'm assuming Rumsfeld was asked about Able Danger at the press conference.

Ok, but has he said WHAT Able Danger briefed the 9/11 commission on? Did they share the information about Atta? The commission has said that their staff spoke with Able Danger, but were never told about the Atta information.

Have to go exercise; will check in later. Wish I'd heard the question during the press conference but I was convinced by another freeper to put up a thread about this matter.
Hopefully someone can fill in the blanks.
And I think we're approaching double digits of excuses by the 9/11 Commission :-)
