Ah, another story from Leo Banks!
We've been posting these all along...I don't remember if this one made it or not. He is one fantastic writer, and he tells these stories so well because he lives them, believes them...and probably cries inside when he sees how his beloved southern Arizona is being ruined by the smuggling trade.
It was posted on August 12, here:

And Culberson! I've finally got a Congresscritter I can be proud of (so far)!
Dane and BayouRod are going to be greatly enraged.
I would like to see two walls with the equivalent of an interstate between them... well some kind of highway the troopers can roll up and down quickly when there's a breech. Use those prefab 30ft sound barriers that they use to block freeways off from neighborhoods. It could go up fast. Issue warnings that any heavy equipment used to attempt to breech "The Wall" will be disabled. Then do it.
Stopping them before they get across is SO much more desirable than trying to get them out once they're in.
Course there will be those on this thread that will tell us how it's impossible, can't do, no way, won't work, grin and bear it, lie back and enjoy it, it's inevitable... to them I say, "Go To Hell", or more simply, "Nuts."
I thought it was interesting that the fewest apprehensions were in Kullypornia.
To do this we have to get the power of the people mobilized. Start with mass civil disobedience. Start peacefully. If the numbers get big enough... I would never condone violence, but if the frustrations of the people boiled over against the scofflaws and outlaws, I would understand. Perhaps so would the cops and juries, unless they are composed of the outlaws themselves. Perhaps that's what we should be calling them: Outlaws, because that's what they are. They live outside the law, and they think the law doesn't apply to them.
Everyone I run into, is discussing openly illegal immigration. Just months ago, no one really cared about it in circles I traveled. The problem has gotten bigger than most of us.
By the way. It is my opinon, this nation has never fully recovered from Vietnam. The men who sacraficed their lives, the men who came home and were shamed for their sacrafices. The most disgusting thing that ever came from VietNam, was the teaming up of McCain and Kerry. Those two are certainly the pair. Traitors to the end. Selling out their country at all costs to the third world nations.
I ask the question because it seems like the country is still divided along the same lines. The same usual suspects are out there with the same old garbage, and we still have the numbers but they have the megaphone (media).
They've been winning the battles but now I think we've got the momentum.
The President has been acting stupidly and blindly beyond belief but he is close to marginalizing himself -- antagonizing those on both the left AND the right to a degree that no one will listen to him, no one will agree with him, no one will support any plan he comes up with.
I predict any plan on the illegal problem he comes up with will be DOA already because he stupidly refuses to recognize it's a problem and continues to insult the voters with the talk of "jobs Americans won't do."
