WTMJ TV is reporting debris falling in Milwaukee county. There are reports of paper with letterhead from Madison falling in Milwaukee's southern suburbs, some 75 miles to the east of Madison.

This looks like a very dangerous situation with two tornadoes on the ground for a lengthy period of time.

The bad news; the middle of that blob over the "+" will hit me square in the middle. The good...the current tornadic activity is on the southern edge of that.

There also is a tornado warning for Outagamie County (the Appleton area) until 8:30. That part of the storm has also dropped several tornadoes in counties to the west.

I guess it's going west to east and won't come your way?

Do you have a basement?

The current radar-indicated tornado is headed southeast, which will pass by well south. The severe thunderstorm is still off to my west.

And yes, I do have a basement and about 6 miles of warning if they issue anything for Milwaukee County based on that severe t-storm.

My s-i-l called from just a couple of blocks away from me in Greenfield, (SW suburb of Milwaukee) to say there is stuff falling from the sky. I can't see anything here, but the lightning is INCREDIBLE!

Just talked to s-i-l again. She's on the phone with her friend in Waukesha County who says her mother had someone's tax forms fall into her yard.

I'm in northern Waukesha county and we have nothing. Just a bit of a breeze. It is so strange how these things happen in one place and nearby there is no sign.

Some incredible pictures are coming out of Stoughton (just south of Madison). WTMJ-TV is reporting 60-80 homes damaged to destroyed, 3 injuries and no deaths so far.

I am in Brookfield. About 30 minutes ago, we had corn husks falling in our yard - right out of the clear blue sky. I've lived in this area most of my life, and I've never seen that before.

Ok that's good news.

I just hope everyone will be ok where these things have touched down and are going!

When I first moved here, the first night a storm blew through with 80 mph winds and tore down trees and took off roofs. That was enough for me. Jack and I got under the covers, no basement. Quite a housewarming.

It looks like it's heading south a little bit, so it should miss most of the major Milwaukee suburbs. Good news.

It isn't good news for the people in Raymond, Caledonia, Racine (though it's also starting to weaken).

I wanted the drought broken; just not with hail.

Just went out to (unsuccessfully) take photos of the lightning. Amazing clouds and lightning, though.

I wonder if that is what she was seeing coming out of the sky. She said it didn't look like paper, but it was faling from above the tree line. It's really weird.
