We should have responded to 9/11 by giving Tehran 48 hours to evacuate then flattened it on 9/13. Killing one man, Osama in exchange for the WTC, and 3000 American Citizens would have been a losing equation.

We need to make our responses a deterrent to Islamic Terrorist. When they start to see 30,000 dead for every American killed, they will stop killing Americans or they will all die. We need to again fight war like we did WW2 or we will end up like we did when we fought Korea and Vietnam. Actually we will end up worse, because this time the enemy will not be stuck in Korea or Vietnam but walk across our uncontrolled border and detonate nuclear weapons here.

Win the War THEN rebuild.
