I get so sick of people saying "if you support the war, why don't you go fight it?" I support police and firefighters but I am neither of those. So I guess we shouldn't catch criminals or save burning buildings either.

And I have yet to meet a supporter of abortion who was aborted themselves. :)

I just skimmed over the transcript of the call listed on the site. Did Rush point out that the sons and daughters of Senators and Congressmen ARE "OVER THERE?"

Whenever someone brings up the claim that the children of politicians are somehow obligated to serve in the military and go to Iraq, I simply point out there is no draft...that ours is an exclusively volunteer army...so, by that virtue, shouldn't the children of our politicians be free to decide whether or not to go?

Then, for the clincher, I tell them that if they're so all-fired against the liberation of Iraq, maybe they should go there and fight alongside their beloved "insurgents."

Boy, that really gets 'em steamed.
