FairTax Book
Neal Boortz and Congressman Linder and the FairTax Book are on a roll. Make it to a rally / booksigining if you can : http://boortz.com/more/appearances.html
The FairTax Book will soon debut at number 1 on the NYT Bestseller list. This is worth millions in free advertising. More good advertising will be for us to carry the book with us wherever we go. The more people see that see that book cover the better. If you can't tote it, leave it in the deck of your car's back window.
If you don't have the book yet, go to http://www.amazon.com/ or http://www.barnesandnoble.com/ or any other website or store that has books for sale. They're cheap. Buy more than one. Read the book. Share the good. ______________________________________________________________________
The FairTax book has created more momentum than ever. Our Senators and Representatives need to be aware of the grassroots effort that's about to overwhelm them. Do them a favor and give them a heads-up. Go to www.senate.gov and www.house.gov . Find the fax number for your representatives. Postal letters are delayed by weeks.. faxes show up in minutes. Fax them a short, pleasant note about FairTax. Tell them how much you like it and why. Ask them if they have co-signed HR 25 or S 25. If they haven't yet co-signed, ask them why.
(Keep sending the fax every couple days until you get the correct response :) ______________________________________________________________________
Go to www.state.XX.us/ (change the XX to your state abbreviation). Find your State representatives. Fax them the same pleasant note. They can't co-sign the FairTax Bills but they can state their support or non-support.
(Ditto above - keep sending :) ______________________________________________________________________

Let's continue the revolt!
Good ideas! I'll buy my copy and start sending faxes this weekend.
GO FAIR TAX!!!
bmpu ot teh tpo
For your ping list.
don't fund social security (federal pension tax) with a national sales tax. there will never be a way to privatize it if that happens, and the sales tax rate will skyrocket in about 15 years.
I just finished this book yesterday. It is a great read. I got mine at Sam's club for $15.00. Not sure if they will have any left. I got mine the day it came out.
If you would like to be added to this ping list let me know.
John Linder in the House(HR25) & Saxby Chambliss Senate(S25) offer a comprehensive bill to kill all income and SS/Medicare payroll taxes outright and replace them with with a national retail sales tax administered by the states.
H.R.25,S.25
A bill to promote freedom, fairness, and economic opportunity by repealing the income tax and other taxes, abolishing the Internal Revenue Service, and enacting a national retail sales tax to be administered primarily by the States.Refer for additional information:
The problem is you can't buy it anywhere. Every bookstore is sold out. I tried today in Fayetteville, GA. No luck. Stupid publisher was too conservative in estimating the demand.
Excellent post! Thanks for the information. This is a Fair tax Tsunami flowing towards Washington D.C.
Any bumper stickers available?
Fayette County, Georgia is a very Republican place. I guess I'll just have to go to Atlanta and get one. They don't have brains in that city.
I bought 3 of Boortz's book..dropped two off to donate to my local library---there is a waiting list. and it seems to be selling pretty well on ebay too!
there are...contact (via the website) your local fair tax rep. and he/she should be able to get you some
Thanks for the post. Georgia has certainly led the way on this thing (along with the folks in Texas). Let's hope Chairman Bill Thomas (of Bakersfield) picks up the ball and runs it all the way to touchdown! Guess the folks in NYC, SF, LA, etc., will just have to follow along.
Naw ... don't bother to proof - takes too mush time ... use the time to post more plusses. Anyway, typos just show you're human.
See how human Principled is ...???
I have always thought that is why President Bush put SS reform before tax reform on his agenda.
