It's either Vermont or New Hampshire that has started taxing people on their homes based on their "view".
Those with views of the mountains or a lake are being taxed at a higher rate than those who don't have such a view.
So people already pay more when they purchase a house or lot that has a view. Now they pay more annually on their property taxes. Outrageous.
There is something in the air up there and maybe you're right and it's the tree sap :-)
