He says he has hired an attorney but this is ridiculous that he should have to pay attorney fees, IMO. He uses voice recognition software so he realized too late that it typed 'january' instead of July so I changed that for him.

He asks to contact http://www.king5.com/ to see if people can move the investigative reporters on this.

The police can't help? It sounds like this man's dog was stolen and is being prepared by a fence to sell to someone else for a profit.

Good Lord. Here's some advice. Tell "I called back [1st name removed], and asked her who exactly she gave my dog to." that you're coming down to beat her a$$, and the a$$'s of everyone involved with stealing you dog. Then call the cops and tell them the same thing. This is B.S.

Perhaps if you "rescued" some of the neighbor's valuable items it may help her remember a few more details. But that is stealing and the police may investigate....similar to the dragnet they put out for your pet.

It's a private rescue group of loosely associated individuals, every breed has a rescue group like this, and some people do 'all breed rescue' for the mixes. They don't have official facilities where he could locate the dog.

He just informed me he may have her back by Saturday but the people made him promise not to post on it anymore on the email list he was on. Bizarre. They screwed him over big time and HE has to make concessions?

However technically the dog was his ailing father's according to the breeder. But still, his claim is that they took her from a secure kennel in the backyard.

Call the local chapter of the SPCA. If they can't help, call the National office. This is certainly cruelty to animals IMO.

He is in a wheelchair, and all he has is their phone numbers I believe. But they were making noises about 'harassment' charges and 'slander' charges already.

Nah, I doubt it re: selling for a profit. The dog is spayed for one thing. That's not what these people are in breed rescue for -- its just that they're crazy about the breed, which is all well and good except when it clouds your judgement regarding human beings you have to deal with.

If this was an American Kennel Club registered animal, contact them, they charter breed groups and have an investigative and enforcement arm. You could cause a world of hurt for the rescuers.

Contact an attorney that specializes on ADA stuff. You may have a claim against the terrier rescue, the club that sanctioned the rescue, the national terrier breed club that your local terrier club is an affiliate of, and the AKC especially if they don't enforce the rules. Kennel Clubs have enough assets, attorney's will consider your case.

I had a pregnant bitch stolen out of one of my kennels and the thief forged my signature on the transfer papers & litter registration application. I got the bitch back and the puppies had their papers canceled.

Yes, the light of day makes cockroaches and morons scurry....bigtime. This person needs to go pick up his dog and tell these fools where to stuff it.......
