WASHINGTON -- The Army, in a rare disciplinary act against a four-star officer, said Tuesday it relieved Gen. Kevin P. Byrnes of his command after a Pentagon investigation into unspecified "personal conduct."
Byrnes, a native of New York City, was relieved as commander of U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command on Monday by Army Chief of Staff Gen. Peter Schoomaker, according to a brief statement issued by Army headquarters at the Pentagon.

Oh my, I searched thoroughly I thought and nothin' turned up....sorry.
LOL....That's what I've been told...
I personally know of a few of those infractions :) Especially the officers at traiing bases, apparently they just cannot help themselves.
When I saw this on the news earlier I told my wife that I bet that was what happened.
That's what I've been told by several Army Officers today.
I live on the other side of the world. If Shield had not of posted this article I probably would not have seen it.
Lighten Up Francis.
God Bless and stay safe.
A simple search on the word general shows at least one earlier post of this.
Senior 4-star general is relieved of duties As opposed to one of them thar Junior 4-star Generals. |
Reading about women destroying our highest ranking male military leaders has become so commonplace today that people are reduced to making jokes about "zipper discipline". I personally find these female military types to be every bit as dangerous and damaging to our nation as al Quaida, if not more so.
I gotta agree with the earlier poster. Lighten up. I really hate poster police. Its not like we sit and try to add extra posts. We all understand searches etc. And you know what sometimes we dont get a hit for our searches.
I once posted something that someone else had posted and good lord you would think I had just committed pedophilia or suggested we murder people whose name started with U.
Increase your post count some other way than by post policing and being a school marm on the hunt for spelling errors.
Mighta spelled it "gen'ral" by mistake ;-)
As a former Hillbilly, I can relate :)
I searched on "general relieved" "TRADOC" and "Byrnes" several times and this is the first hit.
Posting police need to take a strong laxative.
