Imagine, one of our fine journalists getting their story all goofed up.

It would be appropriate if she put out two conflicting stories. Seems to be her MO!

From this May 2005 article........

Patrick Sheehan, Cindy Sheehan husband, supports his wife in her activism, he participates in some events and drives with Cindy when he is not working as a sales representative. He spoke about the toll this work is taking in the family. “If she is not away traveling or speaking, she is home with her laptop, watching news, or talking on the phone…This is important, we try to continue to support her.”

Reading it a 2nd time, I get the sense that he may have been beginning to waiver in his support of her lunacy.

I get the feeling he thinks she has crossed the line. He might have recognized (or been informed) of what his son would think about all of her actions.

I just had another thought. The way journalists twist things, my info that hubby has left her could just really be that he is not following her to Crawford and is staying home.

Sheehan and her husband, Patrick, are old pros at not paying their taxes. They are using their son's death to justify a pre existing affliction to welch on their responsibilities.

This story sadly keeps getting better.

This is a classic example of what I call "Liberal Narcissistic Martyrdom," or LNM. It's when a liberal is so self-absorbed, and so caught up in the idea of being a martyr for their cause...

Cindy Sheehan is the Democrat equivalent of a suicide bomber. She strapped on the vest, went in front of the cameras...and blew her own dignity to shreds. The left is hoping some of her blood sprayed on the President.

In the meantime, her sponsors are raking in the big bucks from the fundraising campaign designed to take advantage of her grief.

Truly, a disgusting display...

When it comes to the MSM, reading between the lines is usually a necessary skill in discerning what it is they don't want to say, but must, in order to mainatin some semblance of accuracy.

OTOH, flat out lying about, and gross ommissions of critical facts is certainly an option they (MSM) wouldn't hesitate to use if necessary to push their leftist agenda forward.

Okay, I read the first link. I could only get through part of the second link. It is on DU and she was turning my stomach with her hate speech. I still think she went too far this time for hubby.

PROTESTING SOLDIER MOM CHANGED STORY ON BUSH Mon Aug 08 2005 10:11:07 ET

The mother of a fallen U.S. soldier who is holding a roadside peace vigil near President Bush's ranch -- has dramatically changed her account about what happened when she met the commander-in-chief last summer!

Cindy Sheehan, 48, of Vacaville, Calif., who last year praised Bush for bringing her family the "gift of happiness," took to the nation's TV outlets this weekend to declare how Bush "killed an indispensable part of our family and humanity."

CINDY 2004

THE REPORTER of Vacaville, CA published an account of Cindy Sheehan's visit with the president at Fort Lewis near Seattle on June 24, 2004:

"'I now know he's sincere about wanting freedom for the Iraqis,' Cindy said after their meeting. 'I know he's sorry and feels some pain for our loss. And I know he's a man of faith.'

"The meeting didn't last long, but in their time with Bush, Cindy spoke about Casey and asked the president to make her son's sacrifice count for something. They also spoke of their faith.

"The trip had one benefit that none of the Sheehans expected.

"For a moment, life returned to the way it was before Casey died. They laughed, joked and bickered playfully as they briefly toured Seattle.

For the first time in 11 weeks, they felt whole again.

"'That was the gift the president gave us, the gift of happiness, of being together,' Cindy said."

CINDY 2005

Sheehan's current comments are a striking departure.

She vowed on Sunday to continue her protest until she can personally ask Bush: "Why did you kill my son?"

In an interview on CNN, she claimed Bush "acted like it was party" when she met him last year.

"It was -- you know, there was a lot of things said. We wanted to use the time for him to know that he killed an indispensable part of our family and humanity. And we wanted him to look at the pictures of Casey.

"He wouldn't look at the pictures of Casey. He didn't even know Casey's name. He came in the room and the very first thing he said is, 'So who are we honoring here?' He didn't even know Casey's name. He didn't want to hear it. He didn't want to hear anything about Casey. He wouldn't even call him 'him' or 'he.' He called him 'your loved one.'

Every time we tried to talk about Casey and how much we missed him, he would change the subject. And he acted like it was a party.

BLITZER: Like a party? I mean...

SHEEHAN: Yes, he came in very jovial, and like we should be happy that he, our son, died for his misguided policies. He didn't even pretend like somebody...

END

On her current media tour, Sheehan has not been asked to explain her twist on Bush; from praise to damnation!

Developing...

This is disgusting!

Sheehan does not charge for her appearances. She said she uses money from her son's life insurance policy and the government compensation she gets for his death to cover the cost of her plane fare from California, meals and hotel for speaking engagements.

Your son joined the military voluntarily and died during a war that freed MILLIONS of people from tyranny. When did the left decide freeing people from dictators was a bad idea?

From the day a Republican is inaugurated as President until the day a Democrat is inaugurated as President.

Do you know something that I should know? I don't make $30,000 a year and I pay federal taxes every year. Should I stop?

Can you just imagine what her son must think about his mama being friends with a terrorist sympathizer/promoter? This is so much worse than a grieving, Bush hating mother.

I heard this woman being interviewed on KFBK (Sacramento) this afternoon.

Two words came to mind: "Media whore."

But an oppressed media whore. She seemed snide and snippy when the first question, "You saw president Bush last year and you were on his side, what happened to change your mind?" And then she had to cut the interview short because she had another interview to do. But her parting words were something like, "Keep in touch with me. I want people to know what I'm doing."

All seemed very odd to me.
