but will this spoil Hillary's chance as a running mate for Boxer's presidential bid?
BOXER/Hillary in 08!
You go girls!

I wish her, or anyone else much luck against Bitchery. If Pirro does indeed become the nominee, I will scrape a few dollars together to donate to her campaign.
It goes without saying though, that she must be prepared for a ruthless, vile, dirty campaign. I suspect she knows that.

DOA. The GOP is trying to out-Hillary the Hildabeast. It won't work. There is no compelling reason to vote for Pirro. If you like all the liberal stuff she has done, then you might as well vote for the real thing. If you are a conservative, you don't have too much of a motivation to go out and vote for a hard core RINO. If you beleive in ethics and morality, well, Pirro has her own family problems.
I'm glad she is going to run, but just like the Dems can't win by pretending to be Republicans, Republicans can't win by pretending to be Democrats.

NYers are terminally democrat. If they won't vote for Dubya three years after 9-11, they won't vote for Pirro in any case (this side of an utter Hilly implosion, which is possible but unlikely).
I wonder what bone the GOP tossed her for laying down for Hilly? How was Lazio rewarded for laying down for Hilly?

Beauty and the Beast! That's what the NY Senate Race should be called.

Just when I thought we wouldn't meet our quota of liberal Republicans running in 2006, Pirro comes in to save the day!

They have to run somebody, I suppose. Is she the best female Republican to run against Hillary, though?

Exactly. The New York GOP is moribound precisely because it doesn't offer an alternative to the Democrats. That's why barring something unforseen, I predict a Rat sweep in the Empire State in November '06.

Yes, I'll send her money for that reason, I just don't see her having a chance in hell of winning.

George Pataki is fatigued after 12 years as Governor. The GOP doesn't have any one who is a formidable candidate. Democrat Eliot Spitzer will certainly be the Empire State's next Governor.
