She met him, but not according to the schedule of the network cameramen or wire service photogs. They met privately and her mom took a pic for the local paper. I guess that was because she's such a publicity hound.
Thank you for posting that picture. I read his book (very interesting life story), and I always hoped she would meet him and his family. I'm glad to see she did.
