Look, Rosenthal may not have had the Marines repeatedly place the pipe in the ground--which is the only point I may've missed on, but the famous photo does not capture the original flag being placed...which is the perception that many have about the photo.

I've been called many things before, but uneducated is not usually one of them. If I'm mistaken on one of my points, please enlighten me.

It could be assumed, I suppose, that a lot of people are unaware of the fact that the Rosenthal photo is of the raising of a replacement flag, but that in no way justifies use of the terms "staged" and "choreographed". It wasn't. It was as spontaneous as the first flag-raising was.

Being educated does not insulate a person from being mistaken, which you have demonstrated here today. All I'm asking is that you get it right next time.
