The reality is that Hillary can't go after Pirro's husband without opening up all sorts of stuff about Bill. Like pardoning Marc Rich etc. Pirro had a choice of running for Senator, Governor, or Att'y Gen. Only the Senate race promised the chance of leaving hubby's name and offenses on the sideline. Spitzer or whoever the Dems run for AG would decorate the state with pictures of Pirro's spouse. Hillary can't do that.

Does she have a chance to win? No! But she can make Hillary spend money and she'll stagger Hillary in debates. She's smart, an ace DA with a great personal courtroom record, and as a prior poster said, she's very attractive, without being obnoxious about it. She can mess Hillary up a bit and muddy her image as the Dems goddess.
