Both Biblical references you gave show that a thousand years to God is like but a day.....so if you believe that he accomplished all I outlined in 7000 years instead of 7 literal days.....go for it!
The only reason I believe he did it in seven days is because that's what Moses wrote down!
Actually I don't believe that it was 7000 years. I think it was much, much more. So you think Moses was totally responsible for writing the Bible? I think those that wrote it did the best they could with their vocabulary and interpretation that they could at the time.
