You haven't heard that they think were should accept homosexuality and stem cell research because of "science"?
That's "liberals" not "scientists", please learn the difference.
It's not scientists who are doing that, but liberals who are trying to frame the discourse to make it look like they are the sole arbitriters of scientific truth, and that conservatives are basing their stances on religious or metaphysical speculation. Most scientists would agree with you that we need changing science and constant morals. Science wouldn't be science if it wasn't constantly questioning itself, and any healthy society needs some sort of morality underpinning it (but it's not the government's job to decide what that morality should be).
