In a column that ran in the Sun-Times on Monday, Novak suggested he learned Plame's identity partly from reading Who's Who in America. A CNN source said a producer had placed a copy of Who's Who on the set Thursday prior to the taping, apparently so it could be consulted while Novak was asked about the issue...What's inside that book?

This pathetic and undistinguished entry for hubby Joe (I thought all FSOs graduated from second tier colleges or better) is limited to postings in small mostly unpronounceable African countries. But the listing of Valerie Plames name, apparently from 1999-2005 is drop-dead hilarious. With this information, anyone could follow her on her commute to Langley and discover the whole dark truth. Top secret? More like bottom feeders.

What's the story line here?
Some liberal was pretending to be more important than they really were and when somebody took them at their word, they were totally embarrassed, humiliated and outed?
That happens daily in our local newspapers. That's what liberals "do."

How quick the faux scandals die off and are forgotten...
I hold out hope that Novak will give someone a good poke in the eye soon.

The really amazing part of this to me is that bloggers and conservative pundits have been referring to this since day one.

Novak looked up a name in Who's Who. To CNN, that seems like some extraordinary and ominous effort.

Here's the entry:
Note that he was divorced in 1986 from his wife of 13 years. I wonder if his first wife has any insight on his character. Or do Republicans not play that way?

Is it normal to list your former wife? If it is, he was married three times, so why only the names of 2 wifes listed?
To: JaneAustin
Because his 2nd wife Jacqueline is a french national who works in the french diplomatic circles( or as some have said spook). Ain't that something!

Her maiden name was listed in the 2000 Washington D.C. telephone book according to this:

Miss Marple, do you know of any Freeper doing family research that might have a subscription to Ancestry that can get this record.
I do know that the plural of wife is wives (DUH).
To: Miss Marple
Just to clarify, I mean just to see if she lists her home address. I certainly don't mean to see what the phone number is, and I am sure they have changed it by now anyway. Just seems funny that 2000 is the only year listed.

No, sorry, I don't, off the top of my head. However, I am pinging a few people who might have access.
To those I pinged, please read #10 and #11. Any help or advice you have would be greatly appreciated.

There is nothing secret about Valerie Plame's name. It was her real name and she lived in DC. Joe and Valerie didn't have some "secret" wedding. There is a marriage certificate around. Many folks knew her maiden name. Sure would like to know who attended their wedding.
I think it was the words "CIA Operative" that nice Mr. Wilson interpreted as "Jane Bond"...rather than a CIA Dem Operative....which (IMHO) was what Mr. Novak was implying. (Her contribution to the Dems was evidence). Joe bit.....Big dummy. Getting Rove and Libby involved was the coverup.
