Mob kills shooter, who went AWOL due to pullout

A Jewish Israeli man in Israel Defense Forces uniform opened fire on bus passengers in a Druze neighborhood of the Israeli Arab town of Shfaram Thursday afternoon. Four people were killed and 12 wounded, two of them moderately. The gunman was killed by a mob that boarded the bus after the shooting. Security forces said the shooting was apparently a Jewish terror attack and that the attacker was a newly religious man, an IDF deserter from Rishon Letzion who recently moved to the West Bank settlement of Tapuah. They said the gunman, Eran Tzuberi, 19, was an activist in the outlawed extreme-right Kach movement. Tzuberi went AWOL a month ago to protest the disengagement plan. Avtihaj Salameh, a passenger on the bus at the time of the shooting, said that when the bus entered Shfaram, the driver asked passengers to request that the man dressed in an army uniform come up to him. The driver asked the man if he hadn't made a mistake, and whether he really intended to reach Shfaram.

If the Palestinians would treat their terrorists the same way, I'd believe they deserve autonomy in Gaza.

So what is the official count now for Arab and Isreali terrorist attacks? 114342344 to 3 now I believe. But somehow I guess this incident gets a lot more press than any of the arab attacks.

The settlement of Tapuah, where Tzuberi lived, is one of the most extreme settlements

Being neither Jewish nor an Israeli citizen, I don't get a vote on the matter. But if I did, I'd vote that the IDF take out this "settlement" with the same speed and vigor that they would apply to a nest of Palestinian homicide-bombing promoters. Terrorists are terrorists, and should be exterminated without any regard to what brand name they stick on themselves.

What's a Jewish Israeli? Aren't descriptive terms synonymous?

Amazing. They'll band together in a heartbeat and do what needs to be done. We're a bunch of wimps. We won't even organize to DEMAND mass deportations of Muslims. This country is going to get what it deserves.
