Great ONLINE Freep Opportunity! - OneMillionReasons.org - Code Pink's New Effort to Aid the Enemy

About One Million Reasons

CODEPINK has launched an innovative, new initiative called One Million Reasons to End the War in Iraq.

The idea is for people from all over the world to write in with their reasons why we must stop the occupation. We want people from all walks of life--celebrities, veterans, mothers, environmentalists, people of faith, health care providers, teachers, students, elected officials, union members, business leaders--to join the global call.

On September 26, as part of the big Washington DC mobilization against the war, we'll be delivering these messages directly to the White House, as well as to the Iraqi people through the Iraqi media. The reasons will be delivered by people in the 'uniforms' of the occupations or organizations they represent. We want to show the breadth of the community being ignored by the White House and send a message to the world.

We encourage organizations to join in and be represented.  Go to become a supporter and send this message out to your community.

Code Pink will "be delivering these messages directly to the White House, as well as to the Iraqi people through the Iraqi media," and they want one million comments from America-hating, freedom-hating, leftists, Marxists and other assorted dictator-loving people.

The page to "add your name" requires that you provide certain "identity" information (name, email address, city, zip, country) and it allows you to "personalize" your comment on their Great Petition.

The leftists at Code Pink will be greedily looking at the number of signers they get; but will they be paying attention to the content of the commentary, or the names of the "signers"?

I haven't gone through the entire list of signatories yet, but I wonder if Helen Thomas, Dan Rather, Dick Durbin and the like, have signed on as yet?

Some people might choose to use a free translation website to have their "message" translated from English to, say, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Chinese, Norwegian or Russian, for instance. Still others may wish to add their comments in Good Old American English.

Freepers can have a lot of fun with this Freep, I think.

As Bill O'Reilly says, "Keep it Pithy."

And, as with real-time Freeps, keep it clean.

Oh, and BTW, don't forget to remove those cookies and temp files afterwards.

EAGLES UP!

Be afraid, it's coming.

The pinkos are "women" in only the very loosest sense of the word. One of their leaders looks more like Robert Redford's long-lost twin than any woman.

They forgot communists, socialists, illegal immigrants, terrorists etc...

Liberal women look better with potato sacks over their heads.

Hillary, Maddie Allbright Sheila Jackson ,Lee Maxine Waters, Janet Reno, Eleonor Clift, Nancy Pelosi. The list is long and notable.

I want to post a reply there but I can't get rid of their statement. I tried to delete, but it will not go away. As much as I want to post there, I don't want my name attached to any endorsement of these idiots. Any suggestions?

Do you have photo shop, or can someone take this picture and change the potato sack color to pink?

It sounds like fun to Freep them but by signing don't we inadvertently help increase the numbers supporting the petition?

Not to worry, I'm sure a few commie 'pinko' photos will show up here soon. No need to Photoshop the facts.

Here's the #1 pinko in congress:

Yep.  Conyers, Detroit.

That's why you have to be especially resourceful with your comments, and even your name.

Has Valerie Plame sent in her support, yet? Peter Arnett?

If the names and the comments are effective, Code Pink's delivery to the White House will be a great source of entertainment for the WH staffers; and it will also neuter their numbers.

Heck, if we have enough people making a mockery of the effort on this website, they may even be forced to take it down and abandon the effort.

Use your imagination.

But clear your cookies, dump your temp internet files and your history afterwards.

I have the same problem. You just can't get rid of their statement. Until I can post my own opinion, I will stay away from this site. If the person who started this post can offer a way around, I'm on board.

I was wondering that, too. If all they do is count numbers of people responding, looks to me like we are helping them out.

Can anyone answer this question: Why would those poor women in those burkas put their eyeglasses on the outside of their veils? Seem to me that would make vision even more difficult.

For instance, "Whitaker Chambers" of Denver, Co said in his post on the Code Pink petition:

"Helping construct a stable democracy after decades of dictatorship is a massive undertaking. Yet we have a great advantage. Whenever people are given a choice in the matter, they prefer lives of freedom to lives of fear. Our enemies in Iraq are good at filling hospitals, but they do not build any. They can incite men to murder and suicide, but they cannot inspire men to live, and hope, and add to the progress of their country. The terrorists' only influence is violence, and their only agenda is death."
