He won't get the nomination. The best he can do is ambassador to the country of his choice.

Good luck. I'd vote for Guiliani or even Romney before I'd vote for Pataki.

Sounds typical of him. I don't think he's laying any groundwork here for an '08 run. Certainly, the pro-life base will have no use for him or Guiliani because of their pro-abortion policies.
