Not to split hairs or anything but the President does not celebrate Ramadan ... he acknowledges it. There is a huge difference. As a Christian, I do not celebrate Hanukkah but I have Jewish friends and acquaintances who do and I respect their right to do so. If I wish them a Happy Hanukkah, I am not celebrating with them but am acknowledging that the holiday is meaningful to them.

You're right, he doesn't actually "celebrate" it....that would be a month long event. He does do *more* than acknowledge it, though:
