CBS? What's CBS? I might be wrong, but weren't they some sort of "broadcasting network" back in the old 20th century?;))

their confusing names, their manical rants, their incredible demands and petulent complaints....I am sick of them all. Cut them out of the herd and put them far away. Devil's Island would be a good place.

It wasn't only Veterans Groups, I was beyond livid myself. So mad, that I went to the CBS wesite, found the 'contact us' at the bottom, and gave them an 'earful'. They will only be held accountable for things such as this, when we make them accountable.

When the Muslims issue a fatwa against Osama then and only then can we expect some action.

I heard some of your show today. This thread is on-topic. About the fatwa: first, what about dissimulation? Second, what evidence do we have that radical Muslims are bound by the fatwa?

Who could ever imagine France kicking out islamic "spiritual" leaders, while we are afraid of being politically incorrect.

From your link:
This Is 'Peace'? "First, both sides should acknowledge candidly that although they might use identical terms these mean different things to each of them. The word 'peace,' for example, implies to a Muslim the extension of the Dar al-Islam or 'House of Islam' to the entire world," explained Tibi, who is also a research scholar at Harvard University. "This is completely different from the Enlightenment concept of eternal peace that dominates Western thought, a concept developed by Immanuel Kant," an 18th-century philosopher.
So, when Bush states that Islam is a "religion of peace," does he mean that Islam is a religion of "total conversion of the entire (surviving) members of the world to Islam?"

It depends on the terrorism they condemned. Violence against infidels - even murdering them, is considered holy if it helps the spread of Islam. Barring a truly unequivocal denunciation of ALL terrorism, this fatwa is simply doubletalk.

Steve Emerson, terror expert, was on Tony Snow's show yesterday and basically said this fatwa is meaningless. Taqiyyah is exactly right. Steve explained how they publically issue this tepid statement and sing quite a different tune to the listeners in their mosques.

Agree with the article, but I don't get the flag thing so much. We don't have a monopoly on red & white stripes -- here's Malaysia's flag:
