Wireless World: Anti-theft RFID clothing
United Press International ^ | July 20, 2005 | Gene Koprowski

Electronic anti-theft devices have been installed in vehicles cars for years -- such as the LoJack, which gained fame during countless TV commercials. Soon, similar technology will be used in the clothes you and your children wear. A fashion designer in California is debuting sleepwear for small children that contains RFID -- Radio Frequency Identification -- tags, providing some peace of mind to parents, who might fear that their young ones may be abducted while they sleep. 666 man.. Some of you think we are quacks for believing that RFID will lead to somthing on that order, but its already happening. People are already asking for RFIDs to be embeded in their arms..

How long will it be before they are embeded in people's hands and foreheads.

If not RFID, then surely some sort of related tech.

Since the tag is only good for a few feet the real fear is when they are in your bedroom trying to get a fix on the tag. The creeps.

Applied Digital Research (ADSX) owns VeriChip that owns the RFID technology.

There are, and will be super uses for this technology that don't require implanting into humans.

I have seen a supermarket, an RFID chip is in everything and your total is tallied as you walk around with scanners in the ceiling. To checkout you simply swipe your credit card on the way and you are off. No more waiting in checkout lines, etc.

Keeping theft down in stores, etc will hopefully save us money in the long run.

The problem with the media covering the technology is they always focus on pet implants, etc

This is great you can put one of these in your wifes underwear and find out who she is sleeping with.

It is only a matter of time before they will track you and what you Buy & Sell. I think people mean well when they market things like RFID in your child's close because of all the media coverage about kids being kidnapped out of their homes but they should know that this will lead to something much more sinister what they are profiting from now may come back to bite them.

It's too late, they already do that. They don't need tags either. If you will notice all the supermarkets now have those club or discount cards they offer free in order to get discounts offered to "CLUB MEMBERS." The only reason for that card is to track what you buy. That card tracks every purchase you make. Go in to a supermarket and buy some baby food and diapers and watch how soon your mailbox fills up with ads for baby stuff. The tags are to control shoplifting and inventory, and nothing more. Why spend millions on technology that is unecessary if they can track you when you buy something.

Soon I hope. I'm tired of carrying a wallet. The Mark of the Beast was more about allegiance, not identification. You had to choose between God or the government. We aren't there.....yet
