According to court records and interviews, Aswat flew to New York on an Air India flight from London in November 1999. He then visited the Bly ranch, but he was dismayed by the conditions he found and eventually abandoned the idea of using the property as a training camp,

I AM DISMAYED BY THIS IDIOTS BEARD.

hmmm....

From the article...

"One of the U.S. officials said British and U.S. anti-terror investigators had gone to Zambia after Aswat's detention last week and were in conversations with each other and Zambian officials to determine where it would be best to prosecute Aswat"

Are they just now realizing who they have (the Zambians)?
How long have we or the Brits known? Questioning this man
is absolutely critical to the ongoing hunt in the U.K.

Oh, man, that is one ugly sumbitch!! One would think that a sensitive, caring parent could have stopped that incessant thumb-sucking sooner.

This is the one that the Brits were seeking right after July 7. As some kind of mastermind or al-Qaeda connection to Osama and al-Zawahiri. What I saw was that he supposedly had 20 cell phone calls between him and the July 7 suicide bombers.

According to the latest reports this is a guy WE (US) asked to have arrested and the BRITS refused because he is a British citizen (or subject). He was in South Africa at the time. We asked for him a couple of weeks prior to the bombings.

Credit goes to the Zambian authorities skilled in their jobs resulting in the bagging this jihad creep.

I wonder if this terrorist also had ties to the infamous Finsbury Park mosque?

As a Norwegian Lutheran I find that offensive.

This is not a racially insensitive remark. The young man in the picture, Ole, was once 6'2" sandy-haired, very muscular, with green eyes. But, upon becoming addicted to lutefisk, his physical appearance changed considerably.

With this medical evidence in mind, the TSA screeners at airports around the nation have been assiduously strip-searching Norwegian-American senior citizens.

Yo, Achmed, hold the flashlight while I check out this Mrs.Sorenson character. Damned Viking terrorist!

I don't come from a 3rd world country.

And I don't have sufficient money, to roam from country to country, apparently not employed, over the years.

Certainly didn't when the age of all of these terrorists.

Wonder where the money comes from. Wonder why we, the Brits, the French, the Candians, the Italians, etc. ever let them move an inch from this moment forward.

How about massive internment. The criteria: muslim, young men, multiple passport entries.

Militant’s ‘Pakistan link’ under probe

LUSAKA, Aug 4: Zambian security services investigating a suspected British militant wanted by the United States have extended their probe to Pakistan through Interpol, a security source said on Thursday. Haroon Rashid Aswad’s deportation to Britain, initially expected by diplomats on Wednesday, has been put back to allow for more investigations into possible terrorist activities in Pakistan, the Zambian source said.

“Investigations have been extended to Pakistan through Interpol. We are verifying his possible connections with some militants involved in terrorist activities operating in Asia,” the source told Reuters.

The source added that it was not yet clear when Aswad would be extradited to Britain. Media reports have linked him to the July 7 London bombings but British police sources have said he is not thought to be involved. Instead he is likely to be extradited after arrival in Britain to the United States, where he is wanted on suspicions he tried to set up a militant training camp in Oregon.

Interpol said last week it had issued an arrest warrant on behalf of the United States which led to his detention. Zambian officials have said British security officials and representatives of the US Central Intelligence Agency are in Lusaka and that the British team has been allowed to interrogate Aswad.—Reuters
