I swear, I think that kids don't exercise basic survival skills anymore because they TOO protected and sheltered.

They think their safety is all taken care of and not their responsibility.

When I was young we knew that if we hit trees bad things would happen. If you didn't want to get hurt you needed to exercise your own judgment and not wait for somebody to put up a sign or guard rail.
