Don't be so quick to poopoo this program. Botchko is a proven success maker. The fact that the MSM turned down his pilot is a positive for me. As a kid, I watched "Combat". It was great, even though my dad, who served with the 66th infantry in WW2, thought it was rediculously inaccurate. Everyone I knew wanted to carry a BAR into battle because of the show.
I receive a lot of free magazines that I would never pay for. One recently reviewed the show and complained that it didn't take a political stance, and then went on to say that MASH and West Wing???????????? proved that a political stance worked.
I believe that the liberals are afraid that showing soldiers in Iraq as heroes will lead to increased recruiting and more support for the war.
Even if I don't watch it, I'll say I do. God bless the American military.
