I took my screen name because Republicans before I was born were divided into conservative "Goldwater Republicans" and liberal "Rockefeller Republicans," and I am certainly one of the former. I don't think I have to endorse every single one of Senator Goldwater's individual positions on the issues, especially those he adopted in his old age.
