"That's almost as good as 'Acme.'"

That was probably their first choice, until they realized another big company had that trademarked. But you can bet they didn't care about puny little Vista.com. MS will buy off those guys faster than you can say Mac OS.

I wonder if there will be lawyers on Vista's doorstep tomorrow begging?

NO!  No, you say!  Only the EVIL, ugly, money-hungry, bullying, satan-worshipping entity that is MS could do something so dastardly.  Not that sweet little Linux .., say it ain't so.

Now watch all the one who would put down MS for this, will now find some way to defend the angelic Linux to be right in doing it.

No, of course not, if it's American then that's what counts.

Nobody's been sued. He's just warning MS about naming the product. He even says "Windows Vista" is OK.

I never said a suit had been filed. I was commenting on the recent strain of tech copyright lawsuits, as it seemed this guy is heading in the direction of a lawsuit.

Windows Vista sounds stupid! :D

No, its an acronym for the major software that runs on Windows: Viruses, Infestations, Spyware, Trojans, and Ad-ware
