Homosexuals always hide behind the mythical "generally accepted" lie. Nothing pro homosexual is generally accepted other than in the fantasies of homosexuals.

I remember reading the story of the Russian chuch which was raized because some homosexuals defiled it by having their "promise ceremony" in the church.

Other nations which are strongly of one christian faith are probably also going to oppose this push for homosexual marriage. (italy comes to mind.)

It's Spain that comes to mind, before Italy. We'll see if there is enough grassroots resistance there to overturn their grotesque homosexual "marriage" law. Italy gave the EU a good finger with their rejecton of the infertitily treatment/embryo research bill, though.

But "generally accepted" is not, unfortunately, a lie. While individual EU members are so far allowed to adopt, or not adopt, their own gay "marriage" laws, homosexuals do have a protected status under the EU law, as far as I know, and that means that their rallies and celebrations cannot legally be curtailed by EU members. I'd be happy to be proven wrong.
