Notice that Livingstone doesn't say that the West tried to help Muslims maintain freedom in Afghanistan or that the West tried to help Muslims in Bosnia or that the West tried to help Muslims save their countries from Saddam in Gulf War I.
Everything has to be twisted into the "evil West, evil US" logic, even from supposed anti-terrorist Livingstone who seems to like the Palestinian suicide bombers.
