I think this is typical, and what we've seen in Iraq, namely that as we adapt, kill, arrest, intercept these terrorists, they adapt too, but at much lower levels of effectiveness. They have not been able to stage another attack in the U.S.; the second generaion of IED attacks in Iraq was much less successful, and they gravitated toward attacking civilians and kidnapping; and now we see the same pattern here, where the second bombing is vastly less effective than the first.

And they have the Algerian ambassador they kidnapped today, I wonder if he's dead

This terror bombing is just another reason why PC will kill Western civilization. The only solution is for US to become less "civilized" when dealing with these Islamic terrorist punks. Explosions were detonators..rather than bombs themselves.
They don't, but they have access to guns in short order. As in cars in the area.
Also, they have security personal who do have guns.
The police have blocked off all streets in the areas.

Of course, Red Ken is too thick-skulled to realize that his shameless appeasment in the last two weeks has encoureaged this attack. Why wouldn't they figure that if they push just a little harder, even with hastily planned small attacks, Britain won't fold?
