I originally thought that it might have been some amateur cell doing this and they used something like "The Anarchist Cookbook" to make the explosives. The "cookbook" is fairly notorious for its incorrect recipes.

1 - So, you don't think they should arrest those they find in London who are involved in this attempt?

2 - Bomb where? Leeds?

One of the terrorists may have slipped into the hospital.

That's convenient. After the crowd beats him unconscious, they can revive him with smelling salts and then beat him unconscious again.

just curious....who is "them" the Iraqi's? The Syrians? The Egyptians? The Jordanians? The Iranians? Or the Indonesians??

I appreciate people like Schmidt and AFPhys's level-headedness and reasoned thoughts on here. It's discouraging to see how many people who call themselves FReepers just fall right into the New York Times' and CNN's little traps. Do people really believe the crap the media spews forth? Are people really that easily led?

The media twists. They distort. They lie. You "media believers" need to start paying more attention and stop enabling the press and the liberals.

I've been seeing the developments in Iraq for a year and a half now. What the media feeds you about it and the reality of Iraq bear little resemblance to each other, trust me.

Police Commissioner 'No evidence of chemical attack.' Still advises some in Central London to stay put, confirms the one injury--possibly the pregnant woman.

"No. We nuke them BEFORE they nuke us. Period."

I doubt that will happen, not when we have rats whining about air conditioning at Club Gitmo.

"Wonder if they "love the smell of mosques burning in the morning?"

The main Seattle mosque is an attractive traditional mosque about three miles from my house. I have the impression its members are mainly professionals and other decent folks who came here for a better life. The mosques to worry about are the storefront and warehouse mosques which are havens for young disaffected men; those are the breeding grounds for terrorists.

Kelly has a friend who works in the ER at University Hospital.

She said once she heard something she would post it.

They depress me totally, Ohio. That people I always liked and respected are so looney (i.e. different from me).

That's why I haven't posted much lately.

Cheers!

White powder all over people? He said what it was, but I missed it. Total mess....they won't even admit it's terrorism. Might be a copycat. I pray for the poor people in the middle of this TERRORIST attack.

What about this "white powder" that the Sky reporter mentioned?

He said it's the explosive. Can anyone confirm that?

These people just don't get it. They need to start bombing. This is WAR. Its not a crime.

And exactly where and who should they bomb? Specifics, please, not generalities.

Jefferson wrote the Danbury letter not as a private citizen, but as President. He had it reviewed by Attorney General Levi Lincoln before he sent it. He was clearly referring to the First Amendment as the source of said wall.

He prayed not as President, but as Thomas Jefferson, private citizen. While President, he refused to issue official proclamations calling for days of prayer and thanksgiving.

"There were also synagogue in the colonies as well."

And 99% of the people were Christians.

Don't ask me for the source. It is a fact.

I wonder was has happened, and continues to happen, since then. Could immigration laws have played a part in our changing demographics? YES! Could our problems be related to to this seminal change? YOU BET!

The solution is clear.

We should pray for their safety, and for the British authorities to capture the terrorist alive so the question could be put to him...

FYI, Madison actually supported with Jefferson a bill to punish Sabbath breakers in Virginia (the same day they pushed the bill for religious liberty!)

And the official Congressional Record shows Madison saying the First Amendment was only intended to prohibit a national religion that people would be forced to observe.
