Sen. John Kerry, who called for Karl Rove to be fired over allegations that he revealed the identity of CIA employee Valerie Plame, outed a genuine undercover CIA agent just this past April - even after the Agency asked that his identity be kept secret.
Kerry blew the cover of CIA secret operative Fulton Armstrong during confirmation hearings for U.N. ambassador nominee John Bolton.
Questioning Bolton, Kerry asked: "Did Otto Reich share his belief that Fulton Armstrong should be removed for his position?" - according to a transcript excerpted by the New York Times. "The answer is yes," the top Democrat continued.
In his response to Kerry, Mr. Bolton did his best to maintain the agent's confidentiality, reverting to the Armstrong's pseudonym.
"As I said," he told Kerry, "I had lost confidence in Mr. Smith, and I conveyed that."
Two years earlier, Armstrong had been identified in news reports on his dispute with other officials over intelligence involving Cuba. But he was operating in a different capacity and his identity wasn't secret at the time.
"When the Bolton nomination resurrected the old accounts, however, the C.I.A. asked news organizations to withhold his name," the Times said.
Apparently the CIA directive wasn't good enough for Sen. Kerry - who outed Armstrong anyway and later defended the move by saying his Republican colleague, Senator Richard Lugar, had also mentioned the name.
And besides, said Kerry, the secret agent's name "had already been in the press."
Another shining example of the criminal hypocrisy of the loser-left...Kerry, you make Bill Clinton look sane -- well, on second thought....
oh come on, you can't possibly expect the rules to apply to monsieur kerry...
But for using it to flumox the "I Remember What The Bumper Sticker Told Me To Think" Liberals, knock yourself out. I know I will use it too.
Also, don't forget that the NY Times "outed" the CIA Secret AIrline, the one we're using in a time of war to move high value (i.e., high ranking, well informed) captured terrorists. Thanks NYT, thanks for helping Al-Queda.

Hmmm, anything to help the Communists... Cuban Commies, Nicaraguan Commies or Vietnamese Commies he loves them ALL! Never met one that he didn't like.
I am glad someone posted this for recollection. And I can't forget Pockets Burgler who stole classified information and destroyed it.
Leaky Lahey.
I was just thinking that he had done something like that when I saw him on a FOX report denouncing Rove. Kerry is such a scumbag!
Kerry knows he can say anything he wants because no one from the MSM will bring up anything bad from his past.

Who a MSM person calls, who he quotes, and how powerful that person is, and what that person "shares", makes or breaks a MSM career.
The "bigs" in the MSM only have liberals in their little black books.
CNN is dying because all the folks who share the "good stuff" are out of office and out of power. FOX is doing well because the decision makers -- the movers and shakers -- talk to FOX. The MSM has a dog in this fight. And their unprincipled hunger is showing.
Today's bump comment...
To me, it looks like part hunger, part shell-shock and a whole lot of desperation.
I think they honestly believed that they were going to help push the liberals into office with their 'G*d-Like Powers'.
Yes, it is sick. Thank goodness for FOX. They don't mind bringing these things up.
I have quit even browsing. I don't even watch local news because I forget. I have FOX on all the time.
I glance at CNN to see what they are showing and then put it on FOX and stay there. I rarely go to MSNBC and never go to CNBC.
I actually feel sorry for those who go to CNN and MSNBC, they are getting a very slanted view of the news and the left's opinions are being shoved at them.
I agree.
