I'm surprised the British are surprised they were attacked by Muslim terrorists, today. It's not surprising, given the following (and we should learn some lessons here):
1) Abu Hamza Al-Masri and his Finsbury Mosque: Sheikh Hamza, a/k/a Captain Hook (he has hooks for hands, as he lost both in an explosion), regularly preached hate at his mosque. And surprise, surprise, it produced Richard Reid, the Shoe Bomber, among the mosque's other "luminaries." Masri was involved with Muslim extremist group, Al-Muhajiroun (affiliated with Al-Qaeda), and planned to host "The Magnificent 19" celebration, honoring the 9/11 hijackers. Brits pay over a million pounds a year to PROTECT Abu Hamza. Could Hamza's trial, which just started, have something to do with the attacks? Muhajiroun's British leader, Sheikh Omar Al-Bakri Muhammed claimed he was disbanding the group, so that all members could join Al-Qaeda and commit jihadist attacks, per his fatwa.
2) Britain welcomes extremist terror-supporting imams, like Youssef Al-Qaradawi, spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood (not to mention Caribou Coffee and Loehmann's), about whom I wrote in the New York Post in 2002 (plus O'Reilly and Hardball appearances), a longer version of which appears here. We revoked his visa because he wouldn't renounce Hamas and supports homicide bombings. He can't come to the U.S. Britain had no such problems with Qaradawi. While Qaradawi defended his support for "martyrdom operations," London's imbecile of a mayor, Ken Livingstone (a/k/a the anti-Giuliani), welcomed him, saying "You are not unanimously welcomed here today. In this, you are not alone. People who raise awkward truths are often like this." And they wonder why London was bombed?!
3) Illegal immigration of radical Muslims to Britain from French refugee camps, such as Sangatte. This has been a constant source of problems between the two countries, with Britain constantly complaining but doing nothing about it, while these escapees smuggle themselves through the Chunnel.
4) Cherie Blair (Mrs. Tony) and other British lawyers who fight for the rights of radical Muslims (and, unfortunately, win) at the expense of their country. Wanna wear a jilbab? Me neither.
Not good news..........what is wrong with anyone who "fights for the rights of radical Muslims?!"
I think we have room at Gitmo.
Deport them.
Deport them.
If the Eletist in Washington continue to destroy the US Constitution - There will be a SNAP heard around the world!
Which makes Livingstone's comments about the bombing and the perps all the more curious.
Maybe he thought his allies would never seriously carry out the attacks where they live.
9/11 was an operation that they wish they could take back, because I believe they had plans to carry out the attacks of 9/11 before 2001 because Clinton was already known to be a President who would not wage a campaign anything even close to the campaign George W. Bush has waged against them.
I would seriously doubt that Al-Qaeda will launch any serious attack here in the States unless they obtain a Nuke of some kind that they feel will break our resolve.
With this all said, I find it very troublesome to think that our enemies can rely on the Democrats Party and our MSM, to sugarcoat the actions of the Terrorists while scrutinizing every detail on how we conduct this Global war, and how we treat the worst of the worst at GITMO. The NYT's ran the Abu Graib story on their front page everyday for almost 2 months, but compare that to the coverage they gave to the several be-headings by the Terrorists they so warmly regaurd as "Fighters" as they saw the heads off of innocent reconstruction workers in the name of their perverted religious beliefs.
What the world saw yesterday in London will wake some of these fence sitters up and smell the Coffee.
Are you sure that it is our "resolve" that they wish to break? If you read bin Laden's interviews and fatwas, he pretty much admits that he's trying to trigger Armageddon. One approach to this is to deliver what he's asking, but in such a way as to preserve and secure world peace in the process.
I see only one reason as to why Britain was attacked - non-European immigration.
It may take some Americans a while to understand where we're coming from. But I think 7/7 London should be more than enough. It could have been prevented. It should have been prevented. We're to blame for not taking care of business. We let those 700 people down. They can be angry at us for not insisting that the right thing be done before they had to suffer.
"If the Eletist in Washington continue to destroy the US Constitution - There will be a SNAP heard around the world!"
It's not the constitution they're destroying; it's the demographic makeup.
The worth of a civilization is the worth of its people.

If this were 1941, Churchill (or FDR here) would do just that........or march them before a firing squad. Unfortunately, the 66 years since that time have caused such a twisting of our policies that the PC crowd (aided and abetted by the marxist media) would all have a fit, both here and in the U.K., if any member of any government suggested actually deporting rampant, murderous, treasonous thugs who are openly calling for the destruction of our countries!
We have to extend every courtesy to them, make sure their Korans are "handled" with pristine care, their menus are to their liking, and their ACLU attorneys always available!
Unbelievable.
