The Greeley group of Freepers had a Float in the Greeley Independence Parade and took home the Independence Award for outstanding Community Float.

The float put together by Weldgop and Fire Engine Red took the award for outstanding communtiy float for the theme : Seize The Moment of Freedom provided by U.S. Armed Forces.

We had the local Marine recuiters office supply the Poolee's that are going to MCRD San Diego to boot camp walk the parade route with us , it drove the crowd wild. The support was great.

This was put together by my wife and me and had some help from Card carrying member vast right-wing made the posters of the people voting in the Afghan and Iraq elections. we spent two weeks putting this float together. This year it was really special because our son is now at Marine boot camp at San Diego.

Photo 31 is a marine vet from Vietnam that came all the way form Calif. to do the parade with us he became a good friend with our son on the leatherneck web site.

I meant to tell you those photos of the Iraqi voters had me misty eyed. Also, the "Seize the Freedom" banner was awesome!!!
