But is splitting away from the U.S. a serious option?

Well, it'll take more than a half dozen families, that's for sure..

And with th edecision of the Fourth Circuit Court -and the silent agreement by the supremes it is not considered against the law for any Christian to pray in the Name of Jesus before any body of local ,County,State, or Federal
Government in the Carolinas, Virginai,West Virginia, and MaryLand. Can't help but wonder if this wasn't the ACLU's ploy to etem th eflow of Christians to the South? IF a Christian cannot pray in th ename of their Lord can they still be called Christian?

This doesn't seem like the best idea. Smacks of trying to create heaven on Earth. That has historically speaking not worked out well. The motives seem mixed as well, first they say they want Biblical law, then they say they want Constitutional gov't. The two are not necessarily mutually exclusive, but they don't match up point to point.

Along with the Libertarians taking over New Hampshire and the Hispanics taking over Califonia, Arizona and Texas it looks like we're headed for the Balkanization of the country.

What state do the laid back whiskey sippin' good old boys plan on taking over? That's the one I'm moving to.

They could join up with the Islamists, who feel the same way.

ChristianExodus.org has attracted more than 700 members from across America since WND broke the news of its inception last May

WND cracks me up. They "broke the news" of something that was announced in a press release. Way to dig out the truth, guys.

In other observations, these folks seem to have missed something. The word "exodus" refers to leaving an oppressive nation, not trying to take part of it with you.

and already a half-dozen families have picked up and transplanted to the Palmetto State.

Yeah, that'll sell. Secession worked out so well for South Carolina the last time around.

Interesting. Thanks for the post.

"We the people.." are in the very early stages of going from a concept to a reality. 62+ million and growing is a threat to the anti-life, anti-freedom gangs. We will not tire, we will not falter, we will not fail.

The 'Conservative Republican Party' no longer exists . .

"The 'conservative Republican' party has let the people who have worked to get them elected down repeatedly. The latest 'filibuster disaster' regarding judicial nominees is a case in point. Basically, a handful of Republican senators decided to cave in to the liberals, again. We believe that this can only be turned around with a concentrated effort in one state."

If you read their strategy, they plan on essentially taking on several government agencies within an entire city and area. Such as the city council, county commission, sherriff's department, and judgeships.

From there, they have every intention of simply defying the Federal government. Now THAT'S an interesting strategy. If they were to do something like that during say a Bush / Republican administration such as we have now, it would be the complete collapse of the Socialist Supreme Soviets in Black robes.

Bush and the Republicans are NOT going to send in the military, the FBI, etc. to stop them. Depending on their message and their presentation (and it looks more like civil disobedience with well documented support), it would mean the end of Conservative Christian support for the Republican Party. Then the party would collapse. The Repubs know this too.

It would almost end up being a standoff with the US Supreme Court similar to what Abraham Lincoln did with Dredd Scott when he told the US Supremes to take a flying leap!

On the other hand, if it were the rabid Socialists in power, i.e. the DemonRats, then this would be the excuse they've been looking for to implement the "final solution." I can absolutely assure you with their insanity, and a few more years to work up their hate rhetoric, they would be calling for executions and death sentences for DARING TO DEFY THE god OF GOVERNMENT!

These people are of those who came to America wanting freedom of religion, land ownership, and a government of the people and for the people.
These people fought against the tyranny of unjust Kings and shed their blood to start a free republic based on a Constitution which guaranteed freedom of religion and speech and gave all citizens the right to OWN LAND, VOTE FOR REPRESENTIVES, AND CARRY WEAPONS LEST THE GOVERNMENT BECOME CORRUPTED.
Those days are coming to an end and so many of you seem to against such rights and freedoms. How can you call yourselves free when you mock and scorn others rights to live in freedom in whatsoever state they will and believe and live according to the laws and freedoms guaranteed by our CHRISTIAN FOREFATHERS IN THE BILL OF RIGHTS.
May the good LORD be with those who love God and his only begotten son, Jesus Christ our LORD and Saviour.

A half dozen? LOL. For those who are unaware of it, South Carolina is attracting thousands of retirees and other transplants, most notably from Florida and New York. I doubt any of them are coming here for secession. Outside of a little ridicule we get from the publiciy, it will take a tad more than a half dozen theocratic wannabees to make any impression here.

I wonder if the FR reaction would be so mild if a Muslim group made a similar announcement? ;)

Nope. Cutting-n-running never works. Band together with your like ideas and work within the system to change things. Heck, the gay community has done a lot with (+/-) 1% of the population. Christians can be just as loud, you'd think!

(Or just plan your permanent escape to a self-sufficient cabin in the North Woods as I am doing, LOL!)

Wow, what a great idea.

Instead of staying where we are and fixing things, let's pick up our marbles and run off and form our own little commune.

I find this mindset funny from a group who consistently tells illegal aliens they'd be better off back in their native lands fixing what's wrong there.

I'm very interested to see just how (if at all) the Constitution Party fits in to this. I have been following Paroutka and his people for a couple of years. I like them very much. I don't think secession efforts would work, but the movement toward such, if done right, and if attempted non-violently could serve to shake some law makers up. I do believe we have come to the place where some extreme action is in order.
