Border Patrol Study Shows Bush Amnesty Attracts Illegals
White House, DHS Tried to Block Information from Going Public
WASHINGTON, D.C. Congressman Tom Tancredo (R-CO) and Judicial Watch released previously undisclosed documents from the Border Patrol which show that President Bushs proposed amnesty plan encourages illegal aliens to cross the border into the U.S.
The documents, the result of a lengthy legal fight between DHS and Judicial Watch, are survey results from illegal aliens interdicted by the Border Patrol. The survey asked illegal aliens whether they had heard of a U.S. government amnesty plan for illegal aliens (61 percent had) and whether the amnesty plan influenced their decision to cross the border (45 percent answered that it did).
In addition to the survey documents, memos from the Border Patrol and the White House suggest that the survey was conducted for political reasons. The survey was initiated on the day that President Bush announced his illegal alien amnesty plan, and it was supposed to run for six months. Three weeks later, a memo apparently from a Border Patrol source (titled Casa Blanca Additional Info) said the survey was producing only 38 percent positive responses. The survey was stopped days later, and DHS spokespersons received a memo titled White House Approved Talking Points which instructed them not [to] talk about amnesty or about the Presidents illegal alien amnesty plan.
This is a bombshell. The White House and DHS leadership must immediately address the survey and the way the information request was handled so that the American people know that their government isnt playing politics with national security data, said Tancredo.
I have said all along that the Presidents immigration plan is amnesty, regardless of what the President calls it. We now have proof that illegal aliens understand that its amnesty as well, and that it is an enticement to cross the border.

He couldn't have been wrong, or lied to us. Could he have?

Surprise, surprise- this story didn't make any of the major networks' news broadcasts. Did Fox even mention it?

When the country is near bankrupt
and is being turned over to the 3rd world.
The joke of the decade is the Bushjr National Security Plan.
Admin fixed it. Thank you.
"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government,
1. The act of invading; the act of encroaching upon the rights or possessions of another; encroachment; trespass.
I'm not happy that W will not simply shut down the border everyplace but at actual regulated crossing points. But this is still not the same as offering an amnesty.

God's president would NEVER tell a lie!!
/sarcasm

Direct quote from GWB: "This program will offer legal status, as temporary workers, to the millions of undocumented men and women now employed in the United States....."
Do you understand?
Comprende'?
That's amnesty.
Read it and weep.
Here's hoping Tancredo and Judicial Watch don't drop the ball, and expose Bush for what he is doing. By the end of Bush's term, Mexicans will dominate every facet of American life, pushing citizens out of their own homes by bankrupting them, with the help of Bush and the open border politicians.
Not an amnesty? LOL. Stick around as a "guest worker" (snicker snicker) for six years, and THEN get citizenship. That's the Bush plan.
Sorry Lucy, Charlie Brown ain't kicking that sucker ball again.
