The Stillwater motorcyclist arrested last year on suspicion of racing 205 mph near Wabasha during the "Flood Run" motorcycle charity event is accused of failing to abide by the terms of his probation.
Sam Tilley, 21, failed to report to his probation officer, and there is no record of his having paid the $125 fine or performing the 200 hours of community service as ordered during his December sentencing, Wabasha County court officials say.
Tilley did not appear at a March 24 hearing to explain himself, so a judge issued an arrest warrant. He was picked up early Thursday, after Woodbury police pulled him over in a 1995 Oldsmobile Aurora.
He was slated to appear before a Wabasha County judge today.
Tilley pleaded guilty last year to misdemeanor counts of speeding and driving without a motorcycle license. Prosecutors dropped a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving.
When state troopers said they clocked him driving 205 mph on U.S. 61 last fall, it caused a storm in the motorcycle world. Tilley maintained he was going at least 111 mph but never 205.
His guilty plea averted a trial but also the analysis that may have proved whether he'd actually reached 205. The prosecutor said the court record probably wouldn't note his speed.

They should call him "Road Pizza Wannabe Tilley."
bikes on the interstate that pass me doing well over 100, cutting between 2 adjacent cars to pass, etc., are right below cell phones in what ticks me off in other drivers. They are a tremendous distraction/potential hazard when they fly past/behind/in front of you with pretty much no warning, and if they were a threat only to themselves I would consider it a darwin-related matter.
205 mph?!? That's gonna be one loooooooong red streak!
The bike he was on could not do anywhere near 200mph. If it had gone to trial, the means by which he was tracked would have been overturned and with that precedent, lots of other speeding tickets. The government could not afford that kind of revenue loss.
That said, not abiding by the terms of plea agreement is just plain stupid.
Ping the Hooligans . . .

can't hurt to be the son of a local sheriff's deputy...
All the government has to prove is that the defendant exceeded the speed limit. The amount by which the speed limit is exceeded isn't an element of the proof....although it may factor into the sentence .
More like a dotted line - you have to take into account the bounce and tumble factor...
Oh look Bob, there's a pattern in the roadway...it looks like morse code!!(I wonder what it says?!)
Motorcycle riders in France regularly use the stripes that separates the auto lanes as a motorcycle lane. They are not shy about zipping between two cars driving next to each other at highway speeds.
After a while, one gets used to it. The norm is for autos to hang to one side or the other of the lane to leave more space for motorcycles to get through. The only trouble is that since the motorcycles are generally going so much faster than the autos, one has to be really careful when changing lanes.
I do have to say that the motorcycle riders are generally polite. When they go past, they acknowledge autos that leave room for them by "waving" with a foot so they don't have to take a hand off the handlebars.
From "road rash" to "road hash" in a matter of seconds.

Sounds like a future organ donor to me..
I think it's "ouch, ohh, arrrgh, owwwie, ouch...."
