"Only a people who are morally justified (who just happen to be the biggest badass on the block if need be) will eradicate this plague upon mankind."

I agree with you, Eastbound. I thought the same thing as I read it. This author's native language probably isn't English. I can see that from the style and various little punctuation quirks throughout the piece.

I think that he means that to defeat this 1,400 year old monster, the U.S. must fight "the good fight" - meaning without compunction about "mishandling the Koran." We must be focused and ruthless.

You notice that the writer doesn't hesitate to say that we have to nuke some cities to bring Islam down. It's a "shock and awe" tactic which translates into raw, brute POWER........and we should all know that this is the only thing that these rabid Muslims understand and respect.

Ordering our military guards to Tip-toe around the corridors at Guantanamo five times a day, so as not to disturb the caged terrorists when they "pray," is clearly not the winning approach!

Thanks for the note, Char. As far as nukes are concerned, a first strike is a bad idea. If we are nuked first, then it will be time to clean out the arsenals and scorch the earth wherever it needs scorching.

If some myths are true, it won't be the first time that entire region became radioactive.

Personally, I think the only salvation for Islam is for them to quarantine themselves and isolate themselves from humanity. Perhaps in time it might evolve into a bloodless 'religion.'

Very quickly, I would imagine -- once they realize the only human sacrifices they'll have access to are their own family members.
