My wife is an Immigrant from China and a devout Republican. Has to do with being anti-communist. Basically Republican outreach can get to many more people like her if we invest in the time to let them know where we stand. Problem is we let the Dems do this for decades and now Rove and Melman caught on and are doing their best to recruit minorities. Looks like it is working.

The other big problem is The Propaganda Machine--also known as the "mainstream newsmedia"--and its henchpersons in academia and Hollywood and its Action Committee (the Democrat Party).

Thanks to alternative information sources, notably the internet and talk radio, millions of people are seeing this alliance between the sociopathic and the stupid for what it is. And they are recoiling in disgust.

In my experience I've found new immigrants to be the most pro-capitalist members of our society on average. Maybe illegal hispanics coming for freebies aren't the same, but every otehr ethnic group I've seen who comes here believes in America. Which should almost go without saying, if they didn't believe in America and were socialists, they'd just stay in Europe for example.

I actually think a constant flow of new immigrants can revitalize the nation, by having these people remind us what our nation is about, and bringing with them an entrepenuerial spirit. Think of how many new companies are started by Indians and Chinese for example.

My feeling is without a new flow of immigrants we would over time descend into the European way of super strong trade guilds, and regulated monopoly businesses.

EXACTLY. The Democrat playbook is to infiltrate immigrant groups and build up party loyalty and ID early. We've got to be in the fight at least.
