Any law or institution created under the aegis of occupation is devoid of both legal and moral authority.

Guess this means the Palestinian Authority is no more?

Global anti-war groups. They should talk to the leaders of the terrorist groups. Oh, wait, they might be the leaders of the terrorist groups.

Seems that they want to both judge and control matters of both legal and moral authority.

Now, does not that sound like Iran's approach to governing.

we the Jury of Conscience declare our solidarity with the people of Iraq.

They mean the Iraqi terrorists. Most of the Iraqi people support whats going on from the polls Ive read.

Also, side with terrorists then die like them.

What is "The Jury of Conscience?" Some sort of UN scientology cult?

The left used to hate it when we supported authoritarian regimes that were against communism. The cried about the repression and human rights violations.

Now when we change our policy and take down authoritarian regimes and spread freedom, they cry about the repression and human right violations.

At least their consistent in their own warped way, they're still hard core communists.

10. There is widespread opposition to the occupation.

Of course, the "resistance" is killing mostly other Iraqis.

If my country is willing to swear in a pot-bellied, middle-aged soldier's dad with an ANSWER--sized chip on his shoulder, then this particular one is willing to help take out anti-American trash with extreme prejudice.

About the Not in Our Name Project
In March 2002, individuals from different organizations, backgrounds, communities and political perspectives met together at St. Mary's Church in Harlem, NYC, to discuss what was needed to build resistance to the U.S. government's "war on terrorism" launched in the aftermath of September 11, 2001. The group recognized that the government was embarking on a new openly imperial policy towards the world and a dangerous escalation in the curtailment of rights domestically. The Not in Our Name Pledge of Resistance and Statement of Conscience-Not in Our Name are the two living documents that were developed from the March 2002 meeting and express the essence of the Not in Our Name Project. Participation is open to individuals and
organizations that adopt the Pledge and participate in Not in Our Name-initiated and supported events and campaigns.

Here is our answer; We refuse to allow you to speak for all the American People... We refuse to be party to these wars and we repudiate any inference that they are being waged in our name or welfare. We extend a hand to those around the world suffering from these policies; we will show our solidarity in word and deed.

I'm glad to see the Not in Our Name Project, United for Peace and Justice, Code Pink and ANSWER outed in this manner.

If the feds can tie these groups to the declaration of support for terrorists, it's time to either start deporting or incarcerating.

I here there's openings about 90 miles south of Miami.

Recognising the right of the Iraqi people to resist the illegal occupation of their country and to develop independent institutions... we the Jury of Conscience declare our solidarity with the people of Iraq.

Hmmm, I guess this jury of idiots is confused about the enemy here....

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/06/02/AR2005060201098.html

Insurgent violence has claimed the lives of 12,000 Iraqis over the past 18 months, Interior Minister Bayan Jabr said Thursday, giving the first official count for the largest category of victims of bombings, ambushes and other increasingly deadly attacks. At least 36 more Iraqi civilians, security force members and officials were killed Thursday in attacks that underscored the ruthlessness and growing randomness of much of the violence. The day's victims included 12 people killed when a suicide attacker drove a vehicle loaded with explosives into a restaurant near the northern city of Kirkuk. In Baghdad, gunmen opened fire on a market area crowded with civilians, killing nine, the Defense Ministry said.

Yeah, really standing with the average Iraqi by opposing the US. Bunch of tools.

Now what? Does our govt. know this? Do our representatives know this? Will they listen to us if it's sent to them? If I lived in D.C. I'd take it to the Capital and leave it on every desk there. This really pisses me off Kristinn.

Why do they even bother to call it "antiwar" movement? They aren't against war, they're only against wars where America wins...or fights. They're all for wars against America.

Cheesh...give up the "hidden agenda" [barely, at that] and just call it the AntiAmerican movement.
