Demonstrators disrupted a meeting in Bridgewater yesterday of a group organizing civilian patrols to catch illegal immigrants along the nation's border.

The group, the United Patriots of America, drew about two dozen people from New Jersey and Pennsylvania to a function room overlooking the ice rink at the Bridgewater Sports Arena.

The groups goal is to pressure the government to toughen enforcement of immigration laws and tighten the nation's borders.

About 60 protestors marched outside the meeting denouncing the group's stated goals as veiled racism. Four protestors were arrested, including two who were among a group that sneaked into the meeting and disrupted it with loud chants of "fascists go home."

HUMMMM the anarchist are getting their panties in a wad. We are hitting pay dirt on this one. Now is the time to shout from the roof tops that the true racist are the supporters of the illegal immigration. The Mexican Caste system which refuses to allow upward mobility based on SKIN color, and encourages these "servants" to come to the U.S. for work and send the wages back to prop up their disgusting Government, are the criminals.

They feel so sorry for the illegals, but have NOTHING to say about what the REAL problem is for these people.

THEY SHOULD BE DEMONSTRATING IN FRONT OF THE MEXICAN EMBASSY. HUUUUMMMM that's an idea.

"fascists go home."

I wonder where the hell do they think the United Patriots are from?

You know, the funny thing is that in the mid-30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s continuing right through to today anytime the CPUSA or any of it's front group attack a party, a person, an organization there is 50:50 chance of those being attacked called a racist or assailed withloud chants of "fascists go home"

Funny how that works isn't it. Even funnier that they can't get new writers to come up with something different.

I guess freedom of speech, assembly, and petition isn't allowed for people who want immigration law to be followed.

From the linked article...

While organizations affiliated with the Minutemen effort have held meetings recently in several states, the local organizers have struggled to dodge disruptive protests.

In February, the United Patriots of America were forced to call off a meeting on Staten Island when immigrant advocates contacted the hotel the group had rented and persuaded them to cancel.

In April, protesters contacted the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Freehold, whose site the group had booked, prompting the VFW to cancel the group's meeting.

When the group moved to a diner, protesters contacted the diner owner who also canceled.

The advocates were chased from a second diner when protesters showed up and began picketing outside and finally met at a diner in Union County.

Protesters again yesterday said they hoped to shut down the meeting and prevent the Minutemen from organizing in New Jersey.

And these leftist/pro-illegal alien protesters were calling the border security folks fascists?!

The border problem is more than a Mexico and U.S. problem. The OTM problem is more likely to scare people because of sleeper cells that are here and adding to their strength to do damage.

"two who were among a group that sneaked into the meeting and disrupted it with loud chants of "fascists go home.""

If these idiots could behave as adults and control themselves they might not have to sneak in, theres even a chance they could be invited to sit quietly or debate honestly and learn something.

THANK YOU for linking to the Printer Friendly version of the article.

Those of us trapped in 56K dialup HELL really appreciate it!

--------------------------------------------------

From the article:

The group also is seeking to recruit locals for the Minuteman Project, a volunteer effort that sent hundreds of people in April to Arizona, where they patrolled the U.S.-Mexico border calling Border Patrol agents when they spotted illegal migrants.

Those patrols also drew protests from immigrant rights groups. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security criticized the group, fearing they would interfere with the U.S. Border Patrol activities.

I would suggest that if the Border Patrol was doing it's job the Minutemen would quickly become bored with nothing to do.

I grew up believing in rational discussion so I have trouble with the concept of people who are childish and out of control.

So 24 citizens peacefully assembled for a meeting and another group of 60 people tried to stop them and then, when that didn't work, tried to break up the meeting. How does this qualify as "protesting"? These people are just plain thugs.

I have tried many times to discuss things rationally w/ these moonbats at our counterprotests. I also usually tape the debates w/my camcorder

More often than not, it's a lost cause. Most times, they can't even complete sentences.

I am coming to the conclusion that the effort is not worth the trouble. You would NOT believe some of the footage I have. 'Pod.

Folks, this thing is going to get REALLLLL nasty if our government doesn't step in. I believe we are going to face a mini-civil war on our soil along the border of Americans vs illegals(gangs too)and those organizations advocating rights for illegals(ACLU, MECHA, LULAC, El REZA, and those drug trafficking gangs from the south that are living along the USA borders, these are nasty evil groups who will do harm if necessary, and I ain't making that up either) ...I'M TELLING YOU it's gonna get brutal!!
