It starts when the masses willingly give away their freedom. Think how the left could use this and then tell me it is a good idea. The patriot act is being used against strip joints in Vegas - hardly the intended target... In a short period of time - it will be used against everyday citizens. The police will use comments such as 'we need to use every tool available to us'.
