Could have been for someone that had something else happen.My wife is a police dispatcher. She did a little digging and determined that the helicopter that arrived at 4:14 PM was sent in response to fatal single car accident that occurred between the West Thumb and Old Faithful areas at 3:46 PM. The fatal nature of the crash eliminated the need to rush an injured individual to a hospital via helicopter.

Have you heard anything more about the boy? I've read a couple of stories that said his shoes were found about 5 miles downriver of where he fell in, but no trace of him yet.
