I think they are saying the fathers involved in some way in the cover up. I read somewhere that the authorities down there checked the dads banking records and found he went to the ATM the night the girl disappeared 3 times at 300 am. and 3.45 am in the morning. Seems strange to need cash that late, but then again it's a party town. But I thought the mom said her husband was sound asleep? Who knows?
That is interesting, why did he need the money at that time? To pay for the boat, to participate in a cover-up? I wonder?
"he went to the ATM the night the girl disappeared 3 times at 300 am. and 3.45 am in the morning."
That's only twice. I'll bet his son had his ATM card, I doubt it was actually the father going to the atm at that hour.
"Seems strange to need cash that late, but then again it's a party town."
True it's a party town, but according to the boys story, there's nothing in particular that they would have needed money for that late, and there's no way the father would normally be out at 3:45am. So once again... something's up. Interesting info. though. It seems impossible to get any information about this case, they just keep reporting the same thing over and over.
That's very interesting!
I'm going to tell you what happened that night. Bama girl was party heavy...fairly lit up...when Dutch-boy-wonder bumps into her. The two Aruba locals....having transporation...carry Bama girl and Dutch-boy-wonder out to the beach and leave them. Bama girl and Dutch-boy-wonder have a grand time on the beach...although she is mostly drunk (and likely high by this point too)...and then she wants to walk into the water. Except Bama girl doesn't come back out of the water. Dutch-boy-wonder is sitting there on the beach...waiting...and waiting. And she never comes back out. Dutch-boy-wonder gets scared...calls dad...who comes out. Bama girl never reappears. Dad tells the boy to just shut up and everything will work out...no body...no charges. They cook up a few details and ensure that the Aruba locals tell their story. The only issue that they miss is the video camera at the hotel. As for Bama girl...a naive girl...drunk and likely high for first time in her life (at her mother portrays her as the lass of innocence).
I can say all of this because I grew up in Bama and know how stupid people really can be. If Dutch-boy-wonder keeps his mouth shut, and the father doesn't say anything...it'll be practically impossible to get a murder conviction...especially without a body. Dutch courts don't convict without facts, and in this case...there are only a handful of things you can be absolutely sure of.
hadn't read about the ATM bit.....so Big Daddy is a lying sob too....like father, like son....
"But I thought the mom said her husband was sound asleep? Who knows?"
I thought Mom was in Holland that night. She doesn't know what daddy was doing.
