Wasn't the forum for him to make such a remark.

However, he needs to recognize the immediacy of the issue and make a statement.

He loves doing interviews on FOX, the libs think that FOXNEWS is just his moutpiece anyway, he might as well do another interview on FOX and address property rights from the view of the executive branch.

Are you saying that Fox News was the only network covering this? That would say that the Liberal media is not taking this serious. Which is fine by me since the liberal media are in their death throes anyway as ratings indicate.

Bush did, I feel, a great job in his first term.

He ran a great campaign for his Second Term.

Now he seems to have taken on the roll of a true "lame duck".

The only thing he seems to talk about is Social Security Reform when more pressing issues are at hand.

Again, I agree with his Social Security proposals. But the problem is far in the future, and if the Dems want to screw around and do nothing - not even offer a counterproposal - the heck with it. It will come back in the future to bite THEM in the butt.

Meanwhile in order to stablize his victory in Iraq, shore up democratic movements in the Middle East and forstall terrorism, he needs to do something about the Syrians and Iranians who are slipping non-Iraqi terrorists into Iraq to create havoc and attempt to undo our successes there.

If we pull out and the Ayatollahs and Syrian Baathists are still inpower - we lost.

He needs to address the looming threats from Red China and North Korea (and I don't mean by bribing them with food tribute to behave).

And domestically, it is infinitely more important to get strict constructionist judges in the federal courts - and I don't mean that loser Gonzales, get Bolton into the U.N. or totally drop all representation and support for it, and stop the hemorrhaging of our borders and get off the "guest peasant" program.

Finally, to soldify his gains, he should be giving positive coverage opportunities to a successor - someone other than John Judas McCain.

The hell it wasn't.

This is the most fundamental right of Americans, the right to own property. He's pushed his so called "ownership society", and now he's silent. A REAL compassionate conservative would have came out IMMEDIATELY after this decision and condemned it. The lack of urgency speaks volumes.
