Millions of activists are E-mailed these web ads. I have one in my inbox. These activists show these ads to their friends, Co-workers and neighbors. These ads are picked up by the media when Dems object.
This was a very effective way of getting the message out to the American people during the election. Through grassroots and provoking Dems to respond.
I disagree. They're simply entertainment for the base. I guess that does serve some purpose. But even if a few middle-of-the-roaders see them, a 14-inch computer screen simply doesn't have the same effect as a TV screen in your living room. And I don't think that many people see them, except people like us who are looking for them.
